⚠️ WARNING: Video contains Oscar winning performance!

I might not be doing websites for much longer, once this video goes viral and Hollywood comes calling, but until that time let's talk about the psychology of a website - or more specifically lets demonstrate it through the power of video.

This is part 1 of 3 so keep an eye on my socials this week as the others are released!

I often talk to people about the fact Ampersand Studio Ltd specialises in the psychology of websites but it's not always easy to explain it simply, until now!

➡️ Imagine your website is a customer service desk, would you be happy with how it performs?

That's the crux of it. Your website is an extension of your customer service team so it needs to behave as if it's on your payroll.

⏳ Part 1 is a really simple example and demonstrates how people will feel if your website loads slowly. It's the same as your customer service team keeping a potential customer hanging on the phone. Both give the same emotions and both generally end with the customer walking away.

🌟 The psychology is the same! On the phone or on a website.

Part 2 will go into more detail about content of a website and language. Does your website speak the same as a human?

Part 3 shows how it should be done!

Look at your website home page now and ask yourself if it's one of your customer service team or whether it's time to hand it it's P45! Let us know!
